After a visit to eastern Pennsylvania, the client had fallen in love with the late 19th century Dutch and German farmhouses that dot the countryside there. They showed Hull Works photos they had taken of late 19th century houses they had seen. Hull Homes built them a new old house in the Pennsylvania Dutch vernacular including a room replicated from historic Winterthur. The timber-framed windows, built by Hull Millwork, received a John Staub Award and a Palladio Award for Craftsmanship.
